About Robert Sutton Centrix
Entrepreneur Robert Sutton possesses more than four decades of executive experience with companies such as Auto Finance Group; Universal Special Auto Finance, LLC; and Centrix Financial, LLC. Robert Sutton specializes in developing investment structures, strategies, and financial models, skills that he leveraged in past positions at Centrix and other firms. Throughout his career, he has repeatedly turned corporate platforms and concepts into full-fledged corporations, both public and private. To ensure the success of each of his ventures, Robert Sutton brings a hands-on style to all aspects of operations management, including capital development, marketing, and sales.
Currently serving as founder and Principal Owner of Sutton & Associations, Robert Sutton established Centrix Financial, LLC, in 1997. As the firm’s Principal Owner, he developed a new business model that was so innovative it changed the auto financing industry completely. As a result of the Centrix Platform Management Program created by Sutton, the company flourished, underwriting more than 200,000 loans in 2005 alone, a total of nearly $5 billion in revenue. As the largest automobile financing firm in the United States, the company partnered with more than 200 financial institutions and operated offices in 47 states.
In 2007, Sutton became the Chairman of Universal Special Auto Finance, LLC, a position he held for two years. In this role, he procured $50 million in capital over a one-year period. He then launched his current company, a platform development and business plan consultancy firm. Prior to embarking on his finance career, he attended Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
